NOTE: Due to the volatility in the wedding services market, Mary O. Photography & Design is not currently booking wedding photography. Only existing clients that have had 6 or more sessions will be photographed with Mary O. in the last 3 years are eligible for weddings scheduled in advance. Mary O. occasionally performs emergency relief for brides who’s inexperienced photographer cancel less than 72 hours before the wedding. Proof of payment and cancellation within the  time frame guidelines is required.
How do we book?
Once you have decided on a date and booked your venue, then the first step will be to contact me to check availability for your chosen date. You can drop me an email or message me via Facebook, or you are more than welcome to call me. Each booking comes with a FREE planning session prior to your wedding. We will book that as soon as availability is confirmed. At your planning session, we will discuss the details of your wedding day and any special requests.
What are your rates?
To secure a date, a deposit equal to 50% of your chosen package is required at the time of booking. My package prices start at $1,500. I understand that every event or wedding is different, therefore each package can be customized to suit your needs. To access my wedding prices, click here to drop me an email.
What packages and services do you offer?
I have several different packages including 3 full day packages, a half day package and a special wedding day portrait session for couples that are letting family handle the wedding photography but want special portraits of just the couple taken by a professional. You have dreamt about this day for a long time therefore I know choosing the right photographer to capture your moment is very important. I provide you with a elegant selection of products and I am open to any ideas you may have in mind.
Will we meet you before the wedding?
We will likely meet several times before your wedding. Besides your initial planning session, it is very common for me to take engagement and bridal portraits for my couples. Also, one month prior to your wedding, we will meet one last time and discuss last minute details and finalize your plan. This will allow us to talk through your day and what is important to you to ensure the day runs as efficiently as possible. I also frequently come to rehearsals if held in the venue so I can meet all the important people and help with staging for your ceremony photographs.
Do you have a second photographer?
Yes! I have a second photographer and one or two assistants with me at each wedding. This gives you more of a variety and different angles and they come FREE with your chosen package.
Are there travel costs?
Travel is included with all packages where the wedding is held within 1 hours of Schertz, Texas. However, as an experienced traveler, I can photograph weddings regardless of location. I have a passport and I’m ready to travel!
How long will you stay at the wedding?
It completely depends on your package. Each package includes a different length of coverage. However, additional time can be added to your chosen package if you wish.
Can I have a USB of my wedding images?
Of course! Everyone wants an archive of this most special day. A complete set of Digital Negatives are available as part of “Create A Collection” so you will have the option of going home with ALL of your images or selecting an A La Carte option.
How long before we see our pictures after the wedding?
Your images will be ready within 4-6 weeks of your wedding. We will then get together for a design session to design your album and printed wall art.
How does the album design process work?
At your design session you will see a rough layout of an album custom designed for you. After you have viewed and picked your images, I personally finalize the design and album layout, to ensure that it accurately reflects the events of your special day. I will then send you a link to view and approve the album online before it is ordered. This gives you the opportunity to request any changes etc. Once your happy with your album I will then process your order – this process can take between 2-3 weeks. I can also create duplicate parent albums for gifting!
How many images are in my album?
It completely depends how many pages you would like up to 50 spreads/100 pages, I recommend a minimum of 20 spreads for weddings. That is enough to create a book that tells your story from beginning to end.
Can I customize my wedding packages?
Of course! Additional hours, pages to your album, prints and other keepsakes can all be added. Just ask!
