I don’t know what your office looks like but I traded out my usual spot at the kitchen table for one with a view…

I love working from home! Being a photographer has allowed me to trade a typical job for one that is always new and changing. Normally, on a day like today I’d be home editing in my pajamas at the kitchen table and helping kids with their homework. This week I took some time to do a little training and spend some time being inspired and challenged by some of Texas’s most talented professional photogs! With classes in everything from basics to inspiring art and new techniques, TPPA Summer Fest is hands down the best and most productive working vacation I’ve ever had. Today I spent the afternoon working poolside with my fellow classmates on everything from marketing, to art and the client experience. Later, I will do a little studying for my Certified Professional Photographer exam. I take the exam later this week… I’m a little nervous but my mentors have every faith in my knowledge base and say I’m sure to pass. I can’t wait to bring back what I’ve learned and share it with my clients. Here is a image from my under water classwork earlier today!
